Rubacrete combines 100% synthetic EPDM rubber granules with high tech polymer resin which creates a resilient, non-skid surface that is virtually indestructible. These coatings protect your surfaces while giving a clean, modern look. Whether it's a brand-new surface, old cracking concrete/asphalt, sunken interlock or slabs around the pool, our wet poured and troweled in-place rubber granules will fill in the voids and bring you back to a flush surface that will add curb appeal and last 10+ years. -Application Areas? Rubacrete can be installed over the following substrates: Concrete, Asphalt, Wood, Aluminum, Brick, Crushed Stone, Aluminum.

-How does it stand up to Canada's winters? Rubacrete stretches to accommodate most substrate cracks caused by ground movement which, allows it to expand and contract with our freeze-thaw cycle. It is strong enough to have your contractor plow your driveway or use shovels on the steps. Salt does not harm it, and Ice Melter does not stain it.

-Does the rubber fade over time? Rubacrete uses 100% EPDM UV stable rubber granules which are colored all the way through, promising a vibrant color that will not fade over the years.

-How thick is Rubacrete installed? Rubacrete is installed at a minimum of 1/4 inch, up to as thick as needed to relevel uneven areas.

-What does the rubber surface consist of? Rubacrete surfaces consists of EPDM rubber granules and are mixed with a UV stable resin.

-Is the ruber surface slippery when wet? Rubacrete surfaces do not get slippery when wet. The surface increases traction when wet, similar to a rubber bathmat, making them ideal for pools or stairs.

-Does the rubber surface get hot ib sunny days? Rubacrete uses 100% synthetic EPDM rubber which does not conduct heat. This makes it warm to the touch but never uncomfortable to walk on. Much cooler than Concrete or Asphalt!


-What is the install/dry time? Rubacrete in most cases will be a 1-day installation; sometimes 2-3 days, depending on the preparation or border/logo design. Dry time is between 24-48 hours, depending on weather. In most cases you will be back on your new surface within 48-hours of us starting the job.
